CLASS:  Charming Charleston: Strolling through History

This 2 week course highlights some of the unique and historic features of "Chucktown," the great city which was named for King Charles II. Each class will takes students meandering through the charming streets and alleys of Charleston. The town has a unique vibe. The class and the guest speakers will shine a light on it's unique allure.

CLASS:  Get Your Kicks:  Travel from Texas to California on Route 66

This 4 week course takes student on a road trip to discover America by exploring small towns and roadside attractions along the way.  There will be an emphasis on women who paved the way west through ingenuity and sacrifice.  Each class will progress westward from Amarillo Texas to Santa Monica California on the famous "Mother Road", Route 66.  Along this iconic road we will also visit New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada and some of the noteworthy stops along the way.  We will welcome guest speakers from noteworthy historic sources.

CLASS: The Supreme Law of the Land:  The United States Constitution

This 4 week course breaks down the United States Constitution in simple terms and explores it's effect on American law, life and culture over the past 237 years.  Each class will discuss the men (and sometimes women) who  reframed the American government following the Articles of Confederation and essentially overthrew the first governing system in the United States. The course begins on September 17, the anniversary of the date that 39 delegates signed the United States Constitution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Joining the class will be some fascinating speakers from the original 13 States.
